I came to MuDing a little over 5 years ago and the mentality still boggles me. I was on the outside looking in as I watched my room mate Kali, pecking away and talking of this wonderful fantasy roleplay world... only I didn't understand the appeal of text based gaming. Years later, although many parts of the games inner workings still escape me, I feel pleased with what I had accomplished there and the friends I had made and glad I came on board.
Enough minor lament. Now I have much work to do. My laundry list of MuD chores ranges from Building two of the areas planned (the ENORMOUS South Park and The Living Jukebox) to finishing my clan hall and all its mobs and objects.
Did I mention I am probably the worlds SLOWEST builder???
Who said being an immortal was all fun and games in a game?
Oy. But my rank demands I do so much more. So I shall. 5 years and no areas built/completed save from my own "mansion/house" is pretty despicable.
