Days go by when nothing is amidst, all I can do is but think of what everyone must be doing, hearing past rumors of everyone sicking the Dominion mercenaries after us. It wasn't to long till I had been accomponied by Kurgan. Seeing Ninth circle around Kjeldoran brought grins to our faces, faking a battle with an unknown monster southern side of the market. We lured them out, faking victory upon this monster and gaining incredible power from a sword. The weak are addicted to power, so hearing that, Ninth circle was at my becking call.
I told Ninth circle that the sword had Immense power, only the most evil of evil could wield it. The only thing he asked about was "What do you want for it" quickly my mind races, I shoot a couple pieces of Items I see on them, given to me at ease, I drop a potion which mearly makes you weaker. Laughing I lunged my sword in there direction, quickly reacting they ran away. Things like these bring laughter into the realms, I could only but listen to the bickering and scratching of the head wondering how this could of happened to them. Well it's simple, just cause something is shiny, doesn't mean it has value, when I spit it shines. ~Drizzt 'Do Urden
The night was short for blood glowed in the skies of the battles in the realms. Soon they were over, though there two left to battle out. Soon it broke out, Market Square was suddently the battle spot for minutes. I sat there waiting for the coward Innos of Ninth Circle that hid in the shadows, passing through Market Square, taughting me. Then I was ready, ready for the sight of this pest of a sorcerer. The moment I got a glance at him, my spell was off. I immediatly was on him, nailing him with my wonderful spell, Curse. He was quick to flee, knowing the sight of fighting me would lead to his death. Innos ran and hid behind the great Head Hunter just on an outskirt of Kjeldoran. Then he faded out of sight, and was gone. I lost my chance of getting him then, until a voice came, the voice of being Innos. "Fight me in the Map Room, I will not fight you in the Market when your allias are able to fight with you." Innos said. I sat and thought about it, being it is a small room, that has no exits. Once you enter, the door shuts and locks, and only way out is skill, recall, which is skill like magic that transports you back to your area of the realms. Soon I agreed to it, and the battle had began. I entered to the room to cast my magic apond Innos, trying to curse him so he is unable to get out. Though I failed, I blinded him with magic, forcing him to recall.
As I thought, he cowards out again, all talk and then fails to follow through. After that went back to my hall, to heal and recover from the weak battle. Then again he spoke to make himself look "godly" and wanted another fight. I sat there and laughed at him, then decided might as well fight this coward. I entered the room, the door closed, locked, and I saw a flash. I was suddently asleep, unable to wake, or move. Then he started to cast dispel magic on me. Which would remove my aura of sanctuary, making me vulnerable to his attacks. Then i was cursed AND blind. How could this have happened?? Only think I could think of is, the gods are looking down upon me, bothered of me maybe. Then I thought, it couldn't be I have not talked, so I figured it was my own doing. There was nothing I could do, so I sat there and waited, and accepted my fait, though I would be tough. Then he finally attacked me. I was quick to quaff a potion that restored my sanctuary, making me less vulnerable. Then i thought I had a chance, so I gave a tough fight. And it seemed I gained luck, I was able to slay that coward I have been waiting to slay for awhile now. After slaying him, someone or something came in, and casted the spell, armageddon apond me, weakening me. I had to think quick, so I decided to try my blinding spell. I haven't had much luck in the past with it, but it seemed, luck was really with me, I ended up blinding him my first cast. Now I knew he wasn't going to be able to grab my things for his selfish reasons. Quckly I ran back to the room, to gather my things before that someone could see again. I got my things and got back to my hall as quick as possible. I accessfully got my equipment back! the energy of excitement ran through my body, knowing I was able to do something like that.
Then I noticed, I am missing a piece of equipment. My Pearl of Regeneration was gone. Kind of angry but happy that it seemed to be the only piece I lost, a voice travel through the realms. It was a soothing voice, I was happy to hear, the voice of Ezekial. "Friend Darum, I have good new and bad news. I wasn't able to get all your equipment, but I was able to grab your pearl, and get out before I was noticed. I will give you it once I have the chance"
I gasped in amazement, "I thank you greatly! I was able to get all my equipment besides the pearl, I thought I lost it to that bastid Innos. You can give it to me when you have the time, do not stress so much on it. Again I thank you!" I replied greatly. "Meet me at The Temple Altar, I will be waiting with your pearl" Ezekial told me. I walked, and entered the Altar and was given my pearl, a big relief blew over, knowing I am not missing a thing that I started with.
Minutes later, I found out who that someone was, that decided to slay me. It was Tirus, the Hobbit Sorcerer of the guild of, Order of the Tainted Shade, the guild that was ran by the god Ahriman. I knew that a person of his roll would try something like that on a member of Infernal Order of D'Sar. Infernal was a tough clan, that most others have turned against besides Church of Shadow. Us being evil, we have teamed up to create the most evilest of all. The toughest of all. And everyone knowing it, fearing us. I am the Knight of Infernal Order of D'Sar, Lord D'Sari. I will not fear those who coward us.
I returned to Kjeldoran today. Nothing has changed since I left. Goblins roamed the streets, many cowering when I walked by. Buildings wrecked, corpses littered the alleys, and very few people roamed the streets. I had not been back but a few hours when I noticed The Order of the Tainted Shade clansmen were running the streets looking for a kill. I thought it might be time to head to the Tower. By nightfall I had reached the Tower. It was fairly empty, except for the servants who had greeted me. I spent a very long time wandering the halls alone. After a while I went to my chambers for rest. An hour or so passed and I still had not slept and Kurgan had returned. He was for a hunting. He summoned me to his chamber and we spoke as friends. Kurgan suggested we not go out tonight Tainted Shade was out in numbers and many of our order was gone. So we decided we would rest for the day and hopefully the night would be different.
Rauve the Assassin of the guild, Ninth Circle was posting just steps away from the questmaster waiting for an opponent to come in, sitting silently looking for a certain person. Noticing I thought maybe he was waiting for a fight between him and I or maybe my fellow clannie Dew. Braving up, getting ready I quickly entered the room to cast a fast spell of curse, missing and gaining the strength to cast it again and continuing missing. Then Dew was quickly by my side, knocking Rauve to the ground stunning him motionless. He was able to recooperate and fled from the battle. A coward, waiting for a fight, fled at the moment of battle. He ran to the questmaster, cowaring behind him, knowing we were unable to through a blow, or cast a spell on him in this general spot. Dew and I sat there peering at Rauve, soon he was off. Quickly got back to his part of the realms to stay and not show his face to us. We sat at the Market Square to maybe get a glemce of him around our parts, but he would not step foot in sight of us. Us knowing it was not a fight, it was over, we went on with are things, to adventure off doing favors for the questmaster to earn rewards.
The Titan Barbarian Dew stood his ground at the Market Square in Kjeldoran. Not a soul was around. Feelings of boredom and unidentified rage raced through his mind. Out of nowhere the Assassin Rauve from the Ninth Circle blackjacked Dew, the massive titan fell to the ground unable to move. Unable to move or see Dew could only think, he had no clue of what was going on around him. Time passed, it seemed like forever. Finally Dew felt the strength to open his eyes, when he did he saw the Assassin Rauve trying to recite magical scrolls upon his blackjacked target. Filled with rage Dew let loose a Warcry that thundered through Kjeldoran like a heard of Minotaur. Dew jumped up and bashed Rauve sending him flying across the square. Again Dew charged at him bashing him relentlessly while swining his swords in a unfashionable mannor. Finally Rauve saw his opportunity and gouged at the Titans eyes. Dew was no longer able to see, but he continued to fight hacking and slashing at the sounds of the frightened Assassin. Finally Rauve called upon his God's to return him back to their sanctuary. Content in knowing he was the victor Dew recalled back to Infernal Order's stronghold. There he mended his small wounds, and took care of his bruised eyes. Dew thought to himself, " This Assassin fights with no honor, from behind the back or infront of blinded eyes. I must find a way to stop him. " Again Dew set foot in the Market Square waiting for Rauve to sneak up. Knowing Rauve would already be on his way Dew sat in the dragon fighting stance... waiting, wanting. Finally he heard a noise, and attacked. Rauve suprised by the attack missed his blackjack. Dew constantly beat upon the assassin, cutting leather and chipping plate. Rauve was forced to run, but little did Dew know the Assassin didn't run far. Rauve stayed just out of sight repairing minor wounds, when Dew wasn't looking he laned another blackjack. The Titan hit the ground again. Dazed thoughts went through Dew's head. He felt something upon him, but wasn't quite sure what it was. So Dew awoke after regaining his thoughts. The Assassin landed another lucky gouge on the titan hindering many of his abilities, but to Dew's luck the enchanted fire upon his blade found home in Rauve's eyes blinding him. Quickly Dew disarmed Rauve, and continued his flurry of attacks. Rauve unable to defend himself without his main weapon fled to hide once more. Lucky for the Assassin his eyes were healed before the Titan could see. He snuck back to the Market Square to take back his weapon. With this in mind he backstabbed Dew with no mercy, circling around the blind titan he attacked the back again. Screaming in pain, Dew knew not what to do. He attempted to pray upon the God's but realized there was a curse placed upon him, he could do nothing. Dew kicked about the ground a bit, finding sand and dirt. When the time was right he kicked it into Rauve's eyes, blinding him. Dew instinctivly disarmed the Assassin again, but this time Dew had fuzzy sight and could see. He picked up the Assassins weapon and almost immediately after the assassin was able to find the Titan's eyes. Gouged again, but this time he had a small upper hand. Hurt from fighting two battles without healing, and from the dishonorable attacks to the back Dew was forced to leave the Market Square. He headed north to a room where he knew no violence was allowed by mandate of the Immortals. He was safe, there he sat and chuckled to himself. " So the ninth circle doesn't want to play nice, we'll see how they play without any tools of the trade. " As time passed the weak spell of curse that Ruave had recited from a scroll had worn off. Dew returned to the Inferal Order Stronghold with the curse released it was an easy task. He placed the blood soaken dagger in his bag laying on the floor. " My bag is safe here, no thieves may pry through it here. " Dew returned to the Market Square, knowing that Rauve would be waiting to try and steal his dagger back. Next thing Dew knew he was blackjacked again. All he could manage to do was laugh to himself, so many times had he been left unable to move in the middle of Kjelodran. Rauve then attempted to land a backstab but he was unskilled with the weapon he now wield. The massive titan seemed to absorb every hit, but even a hit was rare for Rauve was so dissoriented with his weapon that Dew could counterattack almost all his attacks. Knowing he was now useless without his weapon, and already angering Dew with his dishonor, Rauve fled. The Titan stayed and waited but no sign of Rauve was to be seen. Hours past, and still there was nothing. " The Ninth Circle have no honor, is this a defeat for them? No, I'm sure he'll return with another precious dagger. But then again, maybe I'll just take that one as well. I need not waste my time with those who have no honor or pride. " With that Dew returned to the stronghold to mend the wounds that were not easily bandaged. " Perhaps Commodore Kurgan would like to know how dishonorable the Ninth Circle has become. Or perhaps, I'll wait until I can bring him more than just a dagger as a trophy. "
To Commodore:
I have received your letter and will return shortly. The time has come for us to reclaim what is rightfully ours. My current situation though, won't allow me to leave quite yet. I will complete my studies and when the weather lightens up I will return.
I hate to change the subject but ..... I think it is important. The case of recruitment. I have met many young humans who have bought into our cause. Though they are but farmers and peasants I believe they could have their usefulness. Strength lies in numbers.
My studies in the dark arts have been going quite well. It isnt quite as hard as I had orginally thought. Though I would very much like to be there I must continue my studies and training. So when I return I will be strong enough to help in the struggle against goodness.
I will return with a small army if it pleases you. They will be trained and armed, though they will not be undead, they will follow all orders and show no fear. So our time has come and me must go forth. I wish you well and will see you very soon.
Your Sergeant Garrett
To my Fellow Brood,
Where has our might gone? Many of our kinsmen have lost thier lives. I find myself wondering into Kjeldoran. I am either greeted by our brood showing a great preasence.... or I find that our presence is null and that the garbage we throw away lurks when we're not around. We used to laugh at the Ninth Circle, yet when we've been around in other lands they've risen back from the graves we assumed they filled. I've seen very few Stygian Temple, I can only assume that they've ventured forth looking for our wayward warriors. I know many of you are on journies away from Kjeldoran, so watch ye back I plead to you all. The brood is strong, and the bond we share cannot be weakened or broken. Yet in our adventures to gain more terrirory and amass more troops, we leave our main adversaries to flourish, and to possibly chase us while we're not together.
I plead to you all my brethren, my friends, my family. Let us reuinite back to the stronghold. Let us take back the lands of Kjeldoran. Let them cower before us once again. Once more let our armies roll over the lands. As we march in unison and formation, our heal stomp crash like thunder around the mountains. May our blades clash brightly against the plate of our adversaries. Let us rise again to such heights we've never imagined. Take our placehold back in this dark world. The time is now, and the time is ours. For it was, it will be, and continue forth and always shall. For Lord Darkstar do we all fight, let us bring glory to his name. For Lord Darkstar, for the Brood! For the Infernal Order! March to glory my brethren!
