On a day of remembering, we at BoRCom want to say we do indeed remember. We will carry the images with us forever and we will rise in tribute to those who gave their lives trying to save others and those who died merely for committing the act of going to work. We remember, we mourn.
On a day of remembering, we offer our hearts as well to those in Beslan who suffered what no one should ever have to endure. We watched along with the world and we cried bitter tears for wasted youth who died merely for committing the act of going to school. We remember, we mourn.
On a day of remembering, we hope to live to see the day terrorism is no longer an answer and lives are no longer lost for the cause of extremism.
We remember. We shall continue to remember.
Greetings!
The approach of Fall has revived both the Elf Crew and myself. Good luck to those of you heading back to school, don't forget to tell your friends to blog! *grins* I'll not be verbose in meaningless prattle tonight, I actually have eight valid points to inform of. And one request. Right to it, we go..
One: I am thrilled to announce the activation of the BoRCom F.A.Q! Many many thanks to Zayne, who took it upon himself to put all you see up there now himself. Thank you, friend, your time and work is appreciated. I will be following up on his lead and adding to the F.A.Q. but the link on both the Index blog and Grand Grimoire will lead you to the F.A.Q. WOO!
Thank you Zayne.
The F.A.Q. can be found here.
Two: The BoRCom Development Blog, aka DevBlog. I don't want to fill the Grimoire with tech talk and I expect the tech talk to increase. So I have made a new blog just to track site development. Notification for this blog will be voluntary so if you're not interested you don't have to read it but I hope to see a few of you there and hope it provides some use.
The Development Blog can be found here.
Three: In a continued effort to organise the navigation of this site, I have added a link to the alphabetical list of blogs. Down in the corner it used to say "Numeric" and "Other." The "Other has been replaced with "Official BoRCom Blogs." Clicking on the link will take you a list of official site blogs, a quick reference for the busy blogger. The list will be kept up to date.
The alphabetical list of blogs can be found here.
The List of Official Site Blogs can be found here.
Four: September Blog of the Month. Although new to BoRCom, the depth of his story has already captured the attention of myself and the Elf Crew. We are happy to announce that the Dark Horizons blog, penned by Sarantus, has won Blog of the Month. It's a recommended read!
Five: September Site of the Month. A bit of shameless self promoting and a rare moment of pride but the Elf Crew has convinced me the occasional sin of hubris is alright. We give our very own DevBlog site of the month because it's about time we got one! Go, us! Rah!
Six: I have still not heard back from the author of the Walberan blog and the email I sent tonight to Vampiress also bounced. Vampiress, please get back to me with a working email. Thank you.
Seven: This month I will be redoing the Main Index Blog. I've never really liked the link and I want to make site navigation effortless. So if you breeze by and the Index Blog is in pieces, you know why. The opening of the F.A.Q. has inspired me to get going.
Eight: The following blogs have been removed from the system for sitting three months with zero activity:
Daemeon's Past
Caleb Telrunya
Chronicles of Death
Alright, it's a lot to digest but we're back in action at BoRCom and doing fairly well on creation time and getting things flowing. Now for my request. I've asked before and I ask again.. SIGN MY GUESTBOOK! I don't even know if anyone even reads this stuff, leave me a bread crumb, please! I beg of you!
*regains composure* Thank you!
Blog ON!
