Conversation with a King

"Tirus," boomed demerol. "I need to speak to you."

"Of course, Sire. What can I do for you?"

"I have heard of causulties suffered. What has happened?"

The mage sighed and told of the Infernal Orders repeat attacks on Nimbis. He told of the ambushes and of Farg's reaction. Also he spoke of the other factions, and how they might respond. And Demerol listened, for the wisdom of Tirus was respected among all in Ahriman's kingdom.

"Do you keep with Farg, and temper him with wisdom? His fury can be the weapon we have needed, but it is a double edged sword. It can cut us as deep as our enemies," explained the tainted King.

"I believe that Farg knows what he is about, but of course I will do what I can and must for our cause."

Demerol looked thoughtful for a moment and then spoke "I want my men victorious, to taste the fruits of our movement. May Ahriman's grace protect you," said the king, stalking off.

"And you, my King," said Tirus, humbly.
