It is done...

With a heavy heart and a slight smile, I resigned my position as one of the leaders of the Crimson Guardian clan.

This was a decision long coming... I am getting along in years and I just cannot give the same time and attention that the clan deserves that I did when I was a younger leader...

Also, previous clan tensions and in-fighting also caused a decline in my inner health, causing me to become bitter and a bit angry... I knew this was something that my goddess, Chauntea, would not approve of...

It is also a relief to no longer be a leader. I was so afraid of telling the clan about my decision, so afraid that my clanmates would ask me to leave, but so far the reaction has been good, and I don't regret anything...

I lend thee the support of mine own reasoning. Thou hast made the right decision for thyself. The clan shall go on, if the Gods deem it justly so. They wisdom and care has steered the hall as long as thou could, far longer than I, and ye should bear no shame for wishing to spend thy elder years away from the stress and strain.

Thank you old friend... You always have the most eloquent words to say in my times of uncertainty... You are always appreciated...

Dearest Taryn,

Today I received word of you resignation as leader of the Crimson Guardians. Though I am saddened to see you depart from leadership I am happy to see that you are remaining among the family and am comforted in the knowlege that you will always be looked upon as a mentor by perhaps many more than you know.
In the short span I have come to call the Crimson Guardians family, you have provided us a solid ground and me a true friend.
I am happy that you are to be able to finally lighten the burden you have carried now for quite a long while. You will always have my complete support, should you ever need anything you have but to ask it.

Your friend,

Throm
