Senses Changing

It appears I no longer have my sense of sound. I miss the sound of the rushing water and the falling leaves. In its place though I have gained a more profound understanding of nature, that I never had before.

One would think it funny, a woman who has spent a good portion of her life devoted to tending to the grounds and worshipping nature didn't really know it as well as she thought.

Learnin' to feel my way bout and seeing it all in colors more vivid than before. The Mother having one sense dulled has sharpened others like the edge of a grass blade.

I am in the winter of my life. Soon reaching seventy long years of living and my life could not be more interesting.
