It is so good to see new faces in the clan hall. I'm working on keeping eye contact with them so that I can read their lips. I do not think all truly know that I cannot hear and it is hard for me to respond without being able to see their mouths moving.
I have lived another 70 springs and I am in the winter of my life. I sometimes wonder just how much longer do I have on Mother's earth. I hope a long time.
Although if I am called home sooner then I have no choice other than to follow.
